Dear Memory Lane Concert Cruise participants,

We wanted to advise you of an important announcement regarding the Memory Lane Doo Wop Cruise sailing next April.

Due to the current economic conditions, we have not had a sufficient number of advanced bookings to date, and the promoters have just made the very difficult decision to postpone the Doo Wop event until 2010.

However, several of those that have registered, have indicated that they would still be interested on sailing aboard Carnival's newest and most luxurious ship, Carnival Splendor. We have very good news for those who still want to go on this cruise just for fun.

While there will not be any private concerts with the Doo Wop Performers, there will be a ton of other activities and huge variety of first class entertainment every evening. This ship also boasts the largest spa at sea, a wonderful casino and a giant outdoor screen for movies under the stars. The price of your cruise will be reduced by approximately $350 per person if you choose to accept this option. That's truly a GREAT DEAL for this beautiful new ship. This offer ONLY applied to those that already registered for this group - prior to Oct 30, 2008.

Your updated invoice/confirmation will follow to show you how much you will save. Please let me know no later then November 5th, if you want to cancel or to stay on the cruise.

Should you decide that you would like to cancel, we will apply to Carnival for a complete refund of your deposits, and if applicable Memory Lane will reimburse the cost of any optional insurance that you purchased from us.
